Blackburn and District Kidney Support Group

We are a voluntary group who are affected by Kidney illness.
We aim to help and support patients, their families and friends
We hold regular Open Meetings with Guest Speakers. i.e. Renal Consultants, Renal Dieticians, Transplant Coordinators, Tissue Typing Specialists, Specialist Nurses etc.
We work to raise awareness of Kidney disease in partnership with other relevant agencies
We address issues affecting the Patients and Carers i.e. lack of organs available for transplantation.
We provide range of information for our Group Members
We organiseTrips for patient, carers and their families
We have literature in Urdu and Gujarati
we also provide benefit checks.
